Even though it is absolutely unforeseen as to how long a correction will last; sometimes it is just for a brief period of time and other times it lingers on for a sustained period of time.

Correction is one such phenomenon which can be triggered by a multitude of factors. From a large scale shift to a macro or micro problem in the organisation could lead to correction. Corrections can at times give a proper overview analysis of the market. This can be done by comparing one market to another and by comparison of one index to another. 

Technical analysis could reveal a great deal about the correction in the price of an asset. It helps to review price support, resistance levels, its consolidation and reversal. Technical analysis helps the market when the correction of the asset occurs especially in an overinflated market. 

Usually, before the market goes into correction the asset will always be outperforming itself and may have a strong upward movement. But during the correction period, these assets declined due to poor market conditions.

Supposedly when the Bitcoin’s price touched a sky-high price, say $12K, it felt bullish and investors and experts predicted that the price may be corrected. 

A Bitcoin correction occurs when the price of Bitcoin falls down immediately after its recent high price. Ever since Bitcoin has been launched there has been multiple price corrections. A Bitcoin correction also means that the price was excessively inflated and was overpriced and currently is finding the correct market price.
