The eagerly awaited movie "Kali Jotta" has finally arrived in theatres, starring Satinder Sartaaj, Neeru Bajwa, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sukhwinder Chahal, Savinderpal Vicky, Rupinder Kaur, Parkash Gadhu, Anita Devgn, Balwinder Bullet, CJ Singh, Ramandeep Jagga, Nikita Grover, Prince KJ, Harf Do not confuse all of these names for a multi-starrer movie, as they only briefly appear in the movie.
I'm sorry, but I must admit that I've finally seen "Kali Jotta" at a theatre. Even yet, I was already getting bored by the first half of the movie since I was afraid I would regret it at the end.
PERFORMANCES:
Neeru Bajwa's performance was lacking; despite the fact that she was gorgeous in the character of "Rabia," I was unable to identify the root of her issue.
As the second lead, Satinder Sartaaj played the part of "Deedar," Rabia's potential love interest. His inherent attractiveness and bashful demeanour make you fall in love with him as soon as he comes on screen, but alas his character is written so poorly that not even he could save it. Now, let’s talk about Wamiqa Gabbi’s character, Anant, Rabia’s student who studied in a government school becomes a lawyer. She is still pursuing her studies. Every time Wamiqa’s appearance on screen leaves us infuriated over her makeup ke wamiqa jahe khoobsurat chehre nu ehna vigaad ke dikhan di ki lorh si. In fact, her hairstyle made Anant’s entire look so shabby that it appeared as if anant ta shayad nahaundi vi ni…So bad!.
It's better to not talk about Rupinder Rupi and Parkash Gadhu who were seen in the role of Rabia’s parents.
STORY:
In the story, Rabia, a college student who adores Deedar, is living life to the fullest. They both moved on in life because they were unable to express their love. Years later, both of them cross paths as instructors, and love strikes once more. Rabia continually creates sketches while also suffering from mental illness, which results in a dramatic situation. Anant hurries about in search of justice for her. Whether or whether justice was done, I'm not sure. The audience was duped by the story, despite its apparent simplicity.
The movie, which was written by Harinder Kour and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, was co-produced by Sunny Raj, Varun Arora, Sarla Rani, and Santosh Thite.
CRITICAL ANALYSIS:
A lawyer speaking untruthfully about a colleague in courtroom practise turned me off, and where is this place where lawyers go to learn in boxer shorts? Let me tell you, Anant's professor gave her the warning, signalling that classes had started at the college.
I was deeply insulted, and I'm sure many connected to the courts would also be.
Wamiqa's appearance turned many off since her character was uninteresting, unreal, and unattractive. The characters were completely unbelieveable up to the intermission; rather, it was merely loud and probing.
While Rabia's enthusiasm is annoying, her beauty is appealing. The film would have failed if there had been no Satinder Sartaaj song in the Deedar-Rabia romance. You'd watch the first half of the film just for Sir Sartaaj's gayaki de maya jaal. Rabia's post-interval looks reminded me of Simi Garewal from 'Karz,' and I think Neeru should try these looks in another horror film, and I mean that seriously... the look was good and scary!
QUESTIONS FOR THE CREATORS:
Throughout the story, various characters had an impact on Rabia's mental health, including her beloved Deedar, her father, who abandoned her to live with a careless and bad brother, her students, who would torture her, and the school principal and staff, who threatened her.
Isn't she entitled to justice from them, and wasn't Deedar equally responsible for Rabia's mental anguish BECAUSE she had already accepted that Deedar would never return, but he returned and left again, and this was the primary cause of her distress?
We know the principal and the male staff had bad intentions, but couldn't she see that the alcohol was already being consumed in the room when she was called in?Why didn't she just leave the room?
However, when it comes to females, aren't Rabia's mother, Puri madam, and her friend who moved to London to blame for her mental harassment? Ohdi nikli ke 16 saalan to Rabia pagal khane hai te usnu khabar hee nahi....wah!
Furthermore, how did Anant become so attached to Rabia that she began looking for her? What was the point of including this sketch book if she was looking for her? ehni ki gal ta dasdeni si ke school ch harass hoyi si.The boys who saw couldn't tell Anant that bhene hoya kujh ni si bus madam nu kursi naal bannke dhmkaya gya si and the sir had urinated on either side.... utter stupidity!
A lively girl like Rabia's mental stability couldn't be jeopardised for such folly. The plot was weak. They came to her aid after 16 long years, during which neither Deedar nor her friend looked for her.
Deedar would have been spending time in the fields if it hadn't been for Anant, or he would have suddenly felt ke janani ta chadd gayi chalo hun ex-lover kol chalde han je labhgayi ta.Both the screenplay and the DOP work in the film were subpar. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the film as a whole because the entire plot was ruined.
If you're making a film about a social issue, at the very least conduct a thorough analysis before you begin filming. Don't make light of such serious issues just for the sake of making a good story. Mental harassment is a serious crime, and lumping it in with sexual abuse is disheartening. The three-year sentence rendered the entire plot point of the film ineffective. The creators should have taken into account Rabia's 16-year torture.I hope you will learn from your mistakes, and if you have already seen the film, please watch it again and see...
kya eh galtiyan nahi si chubhdiyan??Sartaaj deserves a lot of credit for the film's music. Thank you for forcing me to watch the movie. Please content jaancho fer invest kro, producers' nu mere vallon benti. Dhanvaad!
