NEW ZEALAND BOWLED OUT, INDIA WIN

Hardik Pandya returned to the attack and cleaned up the tail, finishing up with figures of 4 for 16 to follow up on his 17-ball 30 with the bat. New Zealand were bundled out for 66 in 12.1 overs (their third-lowest T20I score) to hand India their biggest win in Twenty20 Internationals - by 168 runs. The remaining three pacers - Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik and Shivam Mavi - also bagged a brace each, but it was Shubman Gill's unbeaten century which laid the platform for India's series-clinching win in Ahmedabad.

New Zealand slide continues

It's Shivam Mavi's turn to get into the wickets' column. The pacer dismisses Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi in quick succession to continue New Zealand's slide. 54/8 in 9.4 overs

WICKET

Umran Malik joins the fun. He cleans up Michael Bracewell, who gets done in by the extra pace. New Zealand's struggle continues. 21/5 in 4.5 overs

New Zealand top order blown away

Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya have ripped through New Zealand's top order early in the run chase, picking a brace each. A couple of superb reflex catches by Suryakumar Yadav at slips has helped their cause. The visitors are reeling at 7/4 in 2.4 overs

Finn Allen and Devon Conway have walked out to open the run chase for New Zealand. Hardik Pandya takes the new ball for India

234/4

Shubman Gill's unbeaten 126 has powered India to 234 for 4. Even as Daryl Mitchell bowled a fine last over, conceding only six runs and picking up a wicket, he couldn't prevent India from registering their fifth highest T20I score.

CENTURY

Shubman Gill continues to torment New Zealand. This time with a T20I century. After a steady start, he has opened up, bringing up his last fifty runs in only 19 balls. In doing so, he not only becomes the youngest Indian to score a T20I century but also the fifth to score centuries in all three formats.
